Create Asana Task with the Gmail message

SETTING UP ASANA

SETTING UP ASANA

  • Select the Asana from list of service
  • Click "LOGIN WITH ASANA" for connect with asana app
  • (The new Popup window will open)
  • Click on Allow to allow Mail Director to access your Asana account for creating Tasks
  • Close the popup window
  • Click settings
  • Click Create New
  • Select "ASANA" App

Configuration setup

SERVICE NAME

  • Service Name is the name provided by you for your service
  • Enter the Service Name

WORKSPACE & PROJECT

  • Choose the particular workspace in which you need to add task
  • Choose the project from the particular project under which the task is to be added

ACTIONS

Create Task

  • Create Task action will save your email into the Asana
  • Select the Create Task check box
  • Click save to save the configuration

CREATE TASK BY USING SERVICE

CREATE TASK TO ASANA

Click on Maildirector add-on

Open the mail that need to save

Select the Service of Asana

Clicking on Service Save will open the following fields

              • Subject as "Name"
              • Message as "Notes"
  • Name

This field has the subject of the mail.

  • Notes

This field contains the message body

Created Task

You can see the Created Task by click the Link to Asana
