SETTING UP SMARTSHEET

SETTING UP SMARTSHEET

  • Select the SMARTSHEET from list of service
  • Click "LOGIN WITH SMARTSHEET" for connect with slack app
  • (The new Popup window will open)
  • Click on Allow to allow Mail Director to access your Smartsheet account for creating Tasks
  • Close the popup window
  • Click settings
  • Click Create New
  • Select "Smartsheet " App

Configuration setup

SERVICE NAME

  • Service Name is the name provided by you for your service
  • Enter the Service Name

Select Sheet

  • select the sheet name from the dropdown in which sheet u need to store the mail

Information

Show number of email

  • Show number of email will show the how many of email saved with this sender in Smartsheet

ACTIONS

Create actions

  • create record will store the email to selected smartsheet
  • Select the send create record check box
  • Click save to save the configuration

INFO CARDS

Show number of emails

  • Show number of emails info card will show the number of saved emails that saved from opened mail's sender(from address)
  • Select the "Show number of emails" check box
  • Click save to save the configuration
  • It will show while you open the mail

DO ACTIONS BY USING SERVICE

create record on smartsheet

Click on Maildirector add-on

Open the mail that need to save

Select the Service of Smartsheet

Clicking on Service create record will open the following fields

              • From
              • Subject
              • To
              • Date
              • Cc
              • Content


click on create contact
